The 2013 November Newsletter can be found here.

Again thanks to Nel Ward, our excellent newsletter editor — and now a newlywed after 44 years with her partner, now wife, Sue Hardesty.

Live in North Lincoln County? You are invited to help determine future plans for PFLAG activities at the monthly Lincoln City PFLAG meeting at 6 PM on Wed., November 6 at St. James Episcopal Church at 2490 NE Highway 101, Lincoln City. Attendees will determine whether monthly meetings will continue—or if the group should instead sponsor occasional LGBT-related events without scheduling monthly support or education meetings.

Don’t miss the special event on November 13–two opportunities to hear the informative and entertaining Jenn Burleton, founder and director of TransActivet, the country’s leading transgender youth service organization. We’re encouraging health and education professionals to attend the afternoon session from 3:30-5 pm at Western Title on Hwy 101 in Newport–and for families and community members to attend the more general-interest presentation at 6 pm at the PFLAG meeting at St. Stephen’s Church, SW 9th & Hurbert in Newport. See full story on page 2 of the newsletter.
