Volunteer editor Nel Ward has again managed to keep us well informed on the national and international LGBTQ news as well as our own local news and activities.

YOU ARE INVITED to the annual PFLAG Holiday Dessert Potluck on Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 6:30-8pm at St. Stephen’s in Newport. Bring Christmas dessert treats (or not–there are always plenty) and we’ll share the leftovers to have a variety at home!

Once again Nel Ward, our greatly appreciated newsletter editor, has pulled together the latest and best of the LGBTQ news, around the world and here on the Oregon coast.

Check page 7 for the calendar of events, including the regular PFLAG meeting on Nov. 14–which will be a Trans Observance led by Newport High GSA students. Hope you can come out to support and encourage them.

Thanks for all that you are doing to make our communities safer and more welcoming. We all have to try harder in these difficult and more dangerous times.
